Intensive Housing Management

Intensive Housing Management

Looking after tenancies, homes and the people in them

Intensive housing management is the extra housing support that people in supported, specialist supported and transitional housing need to keep their tenancy and live safely. It goes further than ordinary housing management, with more contact, closer support and quicker action when something goes wrong.

We provide it across the country, with around 200 staff and a trusted network of contractors. We work only in supported housing, specialist supported housing, transitional housing and temporary accommodation.

As the UK’s leading and most trusted specialist housing management company, intensive housing management is at the heart of what we do.

What it includes

The whole tenancy

We look after every stage of a tenancy, from moving in and settling down to moving on.

Talking to tenants

We keep in regular contact with tenants, listen to their views and report back to our partners.

Keeping homes full

We manage empty homes and new lettings so that homes are ready and filled quickly.

Working with partners

We work closely with landlords, councils, care providers and support agencies, and keep them informed.

Regulation and governance

We help our Registered Provider partners meet the Regulator of Social Housing’s standards and keep good records.

Repairs, day and night

Tenants can report repairs at any time, and urgent problems are dealt with 24 hours a day.

Support planning

Joined-up records with Pyramid G2

Our housing teams use Pyramid G2, a housing management system from Omniledger. It keeps each tenant’s support case, support plan and records in one place, so the right information is always to hand. Housing officers update records while out on visits using its mobile working tools, and managers can see live reports on how each tenancy and scheme is going.
